Okay, so, more than a year since my last contribution to the main page. As it so happens, this is exactly how long it took before I got around making another drawing. This is a drawing of yet another RPG character (my only incentive for doing art anymore, it seems) in the ‘Legend of the Five Rings’ setting. Not much to say about this particular piece. It’s been a year, so I needed to do some freshing up. I actually blanked at the first brush stroke, unable to figure out what I was supposed to do. Nothing a few Youtube tutorials couldn’t fix, but it was an awkward start. It’s just a character portrait, so background and pose aren’t all that exciting. In hindsight I didn’t give the background fan the attention it was due, but I know I’ll never get around fixing it up properly. Most of it is painted in one layer, baring the background and the finer details later on when I got scared I’d screw up my hard work. All Photoshop CS6.

Feb 19New Drawing
And here we have it. This is the actual new drawing I made about two weeks ago. I’m rather excited about this one, because it’s a redo of the picture I posted previously. Using the same subject makes for easy comparison. Consequently, the blatant rise in quality is a metaphorical pat on the back and a stroke for my ego.
Feb 16Another old picture: Pax
Moving even further into the past! I’m taking a ragged knife to my pride and dignity posting this piece, but I’d love for you to fully grasp my sense of progression when I get to the actual new thingy.
This one’s actually older than the ‘Gallen’ piece by a rough few months, but I think it came out better.
It’s a bit out of the blue, but I made a new drawing. No, not the one you see above. This one is roughly two years old. But before I’d go and post the actual new one, I decided it was high time I uploaded some old works that have been lingering on my computer for some time now. They’ll never reach a more refined state than they are in right now anyway.
Jan 15DOTQ Comic, Page 4
Fourth page in the DOTQ Epic! Sorely overdue, I’m well aware, but I’m going to give up pointing that out every time. Hatch has been added to the mix. This is also the first comic featuring on the fly improvisation. From this point onward I expect increasing numbers of pages beeing adjusted on the go story-wise for a multitude of reasons, prime of them being my mind keeps thinking of new stuff. Still, the basics are set, so it should be heading to a conclusion of sorts in the long run. Stick around to find out!
