Dreams of the Quill uses something called RSS. “RSS feeds” allow users to keep up with a site’s updates without manually visiting the site: new posts are automatically delivered to the user’s “feed reader.” This can be a desktop program, such as Vienna, or it can be a web application, such as Google Reader.

You can subscribe to our main feed:
rss DotQ RSS

We also have a feed for comments, and one for the forums:
rss DotQ Comments RSS
rss DotQ Forums RSS

In addition to these three, we have many specialized feeds. Every author and category has its own feed. You can find these feeds on the Archives page by clicking the “(RSS)” link next to the author or category name. (illustration)

Wikipedia provides a detailed overview of RSS feeds and a list of feed readers.
