*sigh*

For those of you who were not in the know, the last week or so was spent in a rather fruitless struggle with PHP. I was trying to rewrite my news system, and I kept getting some stupid errors that didn’t have to do with the PHP code itself (which was correct, damn it! I knew what I was doing!) but some server settings, I think. Not too sure. Either way, the people at Host Matrix couldn’t help me, and none of my friends know anything about PHP either -_-

Anyway, we’re on Wordpress again. Version 2.0.1, at that, a good step up from 1.5. No, this is not the same installation. Accounts registered in the old installation still exist in it, but not here. There is no registration here. I am also not bringing back … *ahem* …reviews >_> … don’t bother asking for them.

I think I did an OK job integrating WP into DotQ. Aside from the archives page looking different (better?) and the comments (woot?) it should look about the same as it did before. Now to get back to content… sometimes, PHP can be cruel.

EDIT: I shouldn’t sound so bitter. The installation went great, as did the integration and all that. I’d be really happy about this, really, if it weren’t for my defeat… eh well. Wordpress is cool, and easy to mess with comprehensively. I’ll try to look on the bright side.

After getting some responses and considering it myself a great deal, I decided to make my HC-based RPG sign-ups open. The RPG selected was The Purge, so you’ll all be playing as outlaw Guardian Magi trying to escape death. Well, those of you who want to play, sign up, and get approved.

I finally finished editing Chapter 19 of Crystals of Mana, and it’s up and in place, as it should be. It’s looking like the book will be at least 45 chapters long instead of 44, as I took a small chunk of Chapter 19 and turned it into a whole chapter in and of itself. Catch it here:

Tundra of Heroes: Chapter Six

Nyuk, I love the new sketchbook I got for the holidays. I sketch in it all the time. Its size and shape make it so much easier for me to carry it around and open it at any time. Most of what I do is just doodling of course, but from time to time I churn out something I find deserving of upload.
