Dreams of the Quill

So basically I have 4+ papers due within 5 weeks and I haven’t started any of them (beyond picking topics and some thought, but that only applies to half.) I learned today that I would have a research paper in Algebra 2 H and I was like… WTF? I can’t do this!!

In short, I don’t have time to be writing/editing for myself. By the time this ordeal is over, I’ll be over as well… overseas. Maybe on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean I’ll get some net and some keyboard and type up some awesomeness, but I doubt I’ll get much time to do so. In other words, I probably won’t be working on writing/DotQ intensively until early July. Blah. Yeah, it sucks.

I’ll still check the forums and all, and remember: Big Flak is watching you.

Note: just because I’m posting this doesn’t mean that I definitely won’t write/post in the next month. I probably will. Just… not at all regularly, and not much (unless I decide to fail all my classes.)

I finished the chapter I was planning for today sometime a few hours ago, but its release is on standby while it undergoes some editing and peer review- something never before seen on this site. Something, incidentally, very valuable. I’d like to give my thanks to Alar and GheoFabulousDuk who’ve so far helped quite a bit. If anyone else wants to give me a hand, just lemme know.

Oh, and to those of you to whom I promised an RPG update tonight- headache got in the way. I was just lying down to sleep when I remembered I should give some kind of update on the progress of the new content. Lots of goodies tomorrow! ^_^

Yeah, DotQ’s been a bit of a gimp this past month, though that was explained in the post I had up here the whole time. Not really explained so much as passed off. I don’t actually have a good excuse or anything; I can, however, promise that the lame should soon be over. I asked for a month from April 6th, so I have another, what, three days? I plan on having new content up before those three days are up.

Following that, I plan on having semi-regular updates, or something- definitely not leaving DotQ silent for another month again. I found a balance to what’s been keeping me busy, and I should be able to manage everything successfully once more. Be sure to check out the HC Reconstruction Project as that has great bearing to what I’m working on now, and what DotQ will most likely revolve around for quite some time.

Thanks for your patience, and especially thanks to those who stood by me on the forums throughout this month of nothing- Alar, Kingcrazygenius, Kefka, MoronsonofBoron, athing, Surreal, and Karamazov: I am much obliged.

No, I’m staying right here. DotQ, however, is going on hiatus for a while (as if it hasn’t already been on one…)

A lot of things are going through my head right now, and I haven’t had the time to work on my writing at all lately. I’m going to say one month, some time for me to recollect what I need and get back on track. In the meantime, you can find me in the forums.
