I'm going to hang onto that signature as long as possible. You'll have to pry it from my signature after I'm dead and you hack my account.

Funny story, I'm reading some articles right now about something called the obesity paradox, which goes into depth about, among other things, how a lot of the things generally associated with obesity, such as heart disease and what not, have no actual link. Which would be very interesting. It goes on to say that larger people are significantly more likely to survive chronic illnesses, and are generally living longer and healthier lives.

Not saying I'm going to give up on fitness and eat cheetos for the rest of my life, but it does give a little perspective. If nothing else it warrants further research, and a bit less self-loathing. Now I can focus on my severe personality defects instead of my physical flaws.

I'm halfway to getting my driver's license, though I'm running behind on some other projects. Still, I'm gonna go and say I had a good start to the new year. How's your license coming along KCG?

Nice work, Saurus! You can do it. And that's an interesting idea, KCG. I wouldn't be surprised if those things were unrelated, but being SEVERELY overweight DOES cause problems. Pumping blood and oxygen through your system, freedom of movement, etc. The human body isn't made to be that big, and just eventually starts to break down.

I am currently sick and feel like shit. Vomiting and fever and stuff. Fortunately, my mother is visiting and has been very kind to me.

Oh certainly, but there's a world of difference between being fat and immobile and eating McDoritos all day erry day and just being round. I guess the idea is that if you are relatively active and eat fairly well but still happen to be fat, you're just fine. You don't need to have a BMI of 24 to be considered healthy, and in some cases it might be doing you harm.

Anyways I still need to research it more, especially because it's an appealing idea so I have to be careful not to become blinded by my own biases.

Whatever the case, I'm fairly certain cardio exercise never hurts anyone, since it helps the heart. Having a healthy heart is good!

Woah. Shrinking a star down and placing it inside a specially designed energy-transfer device/pumping system and having raw plasma surging through your veins! Screw Superman and his wimpy absorption of light particles and energy waves. We're getting it straight from the source! FOR THE SWARM! :msob: :msob: :msob: :msob:

I'm actually thinking just being so totally hardcore that your heart is literally a star, shining it's baleful light through your chest.
