1/2/08 Drawing Harvest 01-02-08

So I mentioned in my resolutions post that I would draw at least five things a week. I’m going to make Wednesday my new art update day (Monday is too close to Sunday) and just dump a bunch of sketches up here every week… some will be crap, some won’t. But you can expect at least five drawings of some sort or other every Wednesday.

Brief descriptions, from top left to bottom right:
The first two are the same sketch of Gem (HC), one with his cloak and one without. Then we’ve got the Joker and the Thief (HC). Next is a young Matthias Kinjaku (HC), from before he becomes the Broken Angel (not long before! look how emo he is!!). Then we have some random sketch thingy. After that comes a drawing of Jeuni Huros (ToH), holding a dagger and enjoying some strong wind. Then we’ve got Mana with Terror right beside him (HC). Up next is another random sketch of some sort of scorpion-like creature. Now we’ve got a sketch of Hatsune Miku (fan). The next sketch is an LOL-tan 4koma soup with dumb references to stuff thrown in (fan). Finally we have a sketch of Tomora Ynthon (ToH).

EDIT: Because I’m uploading art like this now, I won’t make posts announcing the addition of pieces to the Art section of the site. From among what I post like this, those drawings I like may just… you know, drift over to the galleries.

  1. I absolutely -love- the 4koma, and the drawing of Miku isn’t too bad. I can’t get the Joker and the Thief to load (I’ve tried multiple times), so I can’t judge it. The first two of Gem with and without cloak are actually pretty interesting, and I’d like to know how you did that. :D

  3. @Alar: thanks :P
    I don’t know why the J+T isn’t working for you… *checks* oh hey, it’s not working for me, either. I should try to fix it… as for the with and without cloak, I just did the cloak in a couple separate layers.
     
    @Kris: you SHOULD draw more :) Good luck with AT and fighting the cold. Cleaning your room, not so much. And thanks :D

    How sad is that?
    I bet the tape won’t come off now….
