6/4/09 Art Gallery Move Complete

I began this work in December, and it is finally complete.

Every page under Art, save TNH’s neglected home, has been updated. They now all use Wordpress’s built-in gallery functions to display thumbnails, captions, descriptions, and comments. Every piece of art has its own comments, just like before. The major benefits of the changes are these:

1. Art pages are much easier to update now.

2. More thumbnails are displayed in less space.

So yeah, it’s pretty good all around I think. It’s nice for me and it’s nice for you. Was a buttload of work to get into place but it’ll be easy to maintain. Glad I’m done…

Next up on the tweaking agenda:

1. A couple quick fixes on the forums, probably coming in the next week or so.

2. Changes to the presentation of info pages on stories (ex. TOH). Not sure what those changes are yet, so this won’t happen soon.

3. ???

4. Profit.
