Web design? Writing? How much of that has happened this break? Heh. Maybe things will change as my friends leave town to go back to school, but so far I’ve produced nothing.

Nothing aside from the Dwarven War-pike-wielding Girallon’s Dire Lion combo.

Hey—I can write anytime, right? I can’t see my buds whenever.

Dec 22Winter Break and all it brings

I’ll be writing a lot—some amount every day, starting tonight. I’ll be doing some web design—cleaning up house around DotQ. I’ll be hanging out with friends—folks back from college for a few weeks.

Dec 12E98: Legend’s Day Off, Draft 3

Second revision of my short story for my short story workshop. This version won’t be workshopped; it’s the ‘final draft’ as far as the class is concerned. It clocks in just under 8000 words. I hope it’s alright—I added a lot of new scenes that I’m not entirely confident about. You be the judge.

EDIT: Up to 582.

Hey guys. November—that month I’ve been fighting for four years—happens to be National Novel Writing Month. In the past I’ve goaded others into participating, always sitting out due to “being busy,” but this year will be different. I’m never going to be less busy, and the people who participate in and complete NaNoWriMo do it despite being busy, so I’m participating this year!

I’m not sure what I’ll be writing yet. I’m going to do some brainstorming Saturday, then begin pounding stuff out Sunday. 50k words in 30 days. Won’t you join me?

Alar’s in, KCG is in. C’mon. Let’s do this.
