A forum member started a thread entitled "emo poetry." After it was spammed full of AIR-related haiku, they were compiled into this quasi-AMV.

In 2005, after the End of an Era live DVD was created, Nightwish rid itself of lead vocalist Tarja Turunen by means of a cruel open letter. In late June 2012, a trio of newly-contracted magical girls defeated the witch produced by Tarja’s despair. What? June 2012 is next month? Not in my ‘magical girl’ Pathfinder campaign! We have gotten about six sessions in since January. The player characters have learned some valuable lessons about teamwork and the intrinsic danger in combatting supernatural threats with magic, and are well on their way to becoming champions of justice.
Just kidding about that last part—they’re still total noobs. But the adventures, I think, have been fun so far, if only for me as the GM. And I’ve been learning. I made some revisions to my contractor base class in accordance with some things I’d noticed during play. I have a lot more tweaking to do, I’m sure, as we’ve only seen one level of contractor powers brought to bear on my hapless monsters, but that’ll come in due time. For now, I’ve nerfed the regeneration provided by the Alien Pact; I’ve decreased maximum charging times for the beam; I’ve clarified proficiencies. I also expanded and improved the spell list and gave the class orisons, but those won’t affect anything until 4th level (give it a few months).
The campaign has thus far proved not only to be a fun experience but also a useful one, allowing me to refine both the new class and my GMing technique. A few poor souls might suffer along the way, but it is all for the greater good. :)
I drew this with Paint Tool SAI and cropped each picture out and saved it on Windows Movie Maker. Afterwards JD recorded his epic voice for me and made Fro-Bro’s epic chronicle come to life!
Sorry for missing a couple weeks (one to the 2nd writing challenge, one to illness). We’re back on track with chapter 8. This one brings us back to Grace Valence after our brief time with Liley and Neil. Release notes may contain spoilers; feedback is welcome on all fronts. Enjoy!
Hey everyone. I’m going to keep this brief. There’s a new theme on the block. Its name is Az, and it wants you to explore it. Lots of things are better-organized or better-presented than before. Single-post views blot out the background and sidebars a bit so that the content comes forward. As always, feel free to give feedback. Does it look funky? bad? great? Could this use work, or could that? I’m open to your critiques. This is the fruit of a lot of labor, so I don’t want it to be mediocre.
For now, though, all I’ll say is this…
- Appropriate changes for the forums & wiki are going to come, but not immediately.
- There may be one or more easter eggs in the new theme.
- Sorry for not getting CotG 8 out on time. I was sick. It’s en route.
Over the last month, I ran the second DotQ Writing Challenge, styled after the first. Last time, what emerged was that a lot of people wanted to write. We got a lot of entries. This time, the harvest was less abundant. Anyone who was interested had only to write a short story and submit it. All entries were to be revised by yours truly, then posted to the main site accompanied by an illustration.
